New Adventures of a Work at Home Mom

Welcome!

I'm a stay at home mom... A SAHM. Wait, no I'm no longer a SAHM, I'm a WAHM!

Many of you know what a WAHM is, but for those who do not, it's a work at home mom. Now, I've always felt that was quite a bit redundant, since what mom that stays home doesn't work? And what mom that works away from home doesn't work at home as well?

But, without arguing semantics, I am now officially a WAHM.

I used to be simply a SAHM. Then I was a SAHM and a college student. Once I graduated college, I realized I needed to do SOMETHING. You see, I just got my degree to become a middle school mathematics teacher. However, until a job opens up (it is the middle of the school year), I am once again a SAHM.

I began working from home with Cafepress, a print-on-demand online store, that allows customers to either:
1) purchase products with their own images or graphics on it (i.e. a shirt with a picture on your child that says ___________'s Mom).
or
2) purchase products with other's images or graphics on it (i.e. a tee shirt that has a funny saying on it or a cute picture.

So, how do I work from home? I now make those graphics and images to put on other's products.

It's not easy, but it IS an option for those with some talent and the ability to create graphics.

One of the main focuses will be discussing the finer points of creating graphics and using POD (print on demand) services.
